The Absence of Void
The Absence of Void is an ongoing exploration into the space between presence and emptiness — where indigo becomes both material and metaphor. Working with natural resist techniques and extended dye cycles, we create textiles that hold light and shadow in equal measure.
The collection examines how colour can express depth without volume, how a flat surface can suggest infinite space. Each piece undergoes dozens of immersions, building layers of blue that shift and breathe depending on the light and the angle of viewing.
